Is SkinPen right for you?
Candidacy depends on more than the concern you want to treat. Tell us about active skin infections, cold sores, bleeding disorders, medicines that affect bleeding or healing, isotretinoin use, keloid history, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and relevant allergies.
Temporary redness, dryness, peeling, discomfort, pinpoint bleeding, or bruising may occur. Less common complications include infection, pigment changes, and cold-sore reactivation. Your consultation covers benefits, risks, and alternatives before treatment.

What does SkinPen treat?

Is SkinPen the same as radiofrequency microneedling?
SkinPen uses mechanical microneedling. It does not deliver radiofrequency energy or heat. During your consultation, we explain how the selected treatment works and why it fits your goals.
How much downtime should I plan for?
Redness, tightness, dryness, and sensitivity can occur after treatment. These commonly improve over the first few days, although recovery varies. Plan around important events and follow your individualized aftercare instructions.
How many sessions will I need?
A series may be recommended, especially for acne scars. The number of sessions and interval between visits depend on your skin, the concern being treated, and your response. Improvement develops gradually; no specific result is guaranteed.
Does microneedling hurt?
Sensation varies. Topical numbing may be used when appropriate, and your comfort plan is discussed before treatment. Expect some pressure or prickling during the procedure and temporary sensitivity afterward.
How is SkinPen different from Skinvive?
